TASOS
Countryside roots shaped his independence, science shaped his discipline, and dance became his language — a combination that defines Tasos’ intentional, uncompromising path.
I am Tasos.
I’ve always believed that life isn’t something that simply happens to you, it’s something you curate with intention.
For me, it was never about following a script or trying to please everyone. It’s about finding the balance between the raw and the refined, the high energy and the clarity of living on my own terms.
I value intentional people who move with purpose and stay authentic in a world that’s often obsessed with appearances. I’m not into the predictable, I’m drawn to real chemistry and connections that actually mean something.
“Switching from Veterinary Medicine to the Greek National School of Dance wasn't a random choice, it was part of my evolution”
Growing up in the countryside, life was authentic and free. As a kid, I spent my days in the fields, among olive and citrus trees, surrounded by animals. Playing outside until late at night taught me what it means to be independent and how to take care of what matters. At the same time, I always had a logical side. Math, biology, and physics weren't just school subjects, they were how I made sense of things. This interest in science gave me a disciplined but restless mind. I spent my time between the focus of a lab and the freedom of dance. I was never good at staying still. I always felt the need to push myself beyond the limits of a small town, not to run away, but to grow and evovle.
My path hasn’t been a straight line. Switching from Veterinary Medicine to the Greek National School of Dance wasn't a random choice, it was part of my evolution. I’ve always believed that how you live is a form of art. Behind the way I present myself, there’s a mind that observes, analyzes, and feels things deeply. I’m an overthinker who’s constantly analyzing, questioning, and trying to figure things out. I value well-being and I’m constantly searching for it. I’ve learned to handle difficult situations, but I’ve also learned when to walk away. I don’t fight for a place where I’m not valued. I don’t treat people as replaceable, and I expect that same depth in return.
“I don’t just let life happen, I’m the one designing it”
I’m inspired by people who are ambitious and dare to be themselves. I try to keep a balance between discipline and actually enjoying my life. I have no time for half-hearted efforts or 'lukewarm' situations.
I move with the confidence of someone who knows when to leave behind what doesn’t fit anymore. I don’t just let life happen, I’m the one designing it.
In the end, it all comes down to consistency. Being the same person in your head and in your actions. These twenty questions are just a glimpse into that. If you want to see who’s really there after the introductions, let’s get into it.
20 QUESTIONS FOR TASOS PAPPAS PETRIDIS BY GAYWOOF
1) Where are you from and where are you based now? I’m Greek born and raised. Currently splitting my time between Athens and Mykonos.
2) What’s one of the best things about the city you live in? In Athens, it’s the timeless energy of the historic center. Especially during those spring nights in the old center, where that raw, vintage soul of Athens feels incredibly alive. In Mykonos, it’s the effortless blend of Cycladic simplicity and high-end luxury. It’s a place of total liberation where you can just be yourself and connect with people from literally every corner of the world.
3) How would you describe yourself in three words? Driven, authentic, and free-spirited.
4) Are you a morning or evening person? Evening person. I find my clarity after sunset, when usually everything slows down.
5) What are 3 things you cannot live without? Purpose, independence, and aesthetic intensity.
6) What’s inspiring you right now? Inspiration comes from everywhere for me. I tend to overthink, so even the smallest detail can spark a new idea. I’m deeply fueled by the energy of ambitious people. People who are successful and passionate in what they do, living with intention and daring to be their true selves without seeking validation! I’m drawn to those who make me feel electric, like life is an exciting opportunity. People who move forward and curate their lives with meaning, rather than just following the crowd.
7) Your guilty pleasure? I don’t believe in typical guilty pleasures, but I have an obsession with all-consuming chemistry. I crave those rare, intense connections that feel almost 'impossible' yet happen effortlessly. I’m a sucker for a slow-burn mystery that stays on my mind and makes me lose my focus.
8) Who are you listening to right now? Currently, I’m immersed in the Arabic electronic spectrum. If I had to choose one project I would say 'Sharake' by Yazan Alsabbagh and Saleh Katbeh. But no matter how diverse my taste gets, I always find my way back to Lana Del Rey, she is my constant.
9) What’s the last TV show or film you watched? I recently watched 'Hamnet'. It’s an incredibly heavy and raw drama.

19) One thing people would be surprised to know about you? That I’m a great listener and love deep conversations with people who inspire me. I value my 'offline' time and meaningful connections way more than people might think.
20) If GayWoof hosted a party, how would it look? A two-tier experience fueled by pure, unapologetic hedonism. One space capturing the high-end glamour of the 'Studio 54' era and the legendary energy of 'The Saint' (NYC) .Where the dancefloor feels like an art form and everyone is dressed to kill. Then, a second, darker area for that raw, sleazy, and kinky vibe. Sweaty bodies, total liberation, and no judgment. It’s all about the mood, the skin, and the moment. Strictly no phones allowed!
